THE ACADEMY OF COASTAL CAROLINA

ABOUT US

Small Class Sizes

At The Academy, our goal is to educate the whole child, promoting academic, spiritual and personal growth. Our students are given the opportunity to develop their unique talents in a safe learning environment. Small classes and a curriculum that is designed to meet their individual learning styles help students achieve their academic potential.

Extraordinary Faculty

Every teacher at The Academy is highly qualified in their subject or grade area. We believe this is an essential requirement for any school, and it is the only way to ensure proper preparation for other learning environments that students may enter following The Academy.

EnrIchment and Athletics

From STEM learning programs to fine arts enrichment and athletics, The Academy of Coastal Carolina offers students a variety of opportunities for academic exploration and personal growth.

THE ACADEMY OF COASTAL CAROLINA

OUR BEGINNINGS

The Academy of Coastal Carolina opened in the Fall of 2006 with 27 students. Subsequently, the program has expanded to include preschool through 12th grade. The Academy's purpose is to provide instruction in small classes that allows personal interaction between the teacher and student. A rich curriculum including history, science, technology,  engineering, math, and language arts is incorporated into each grade level. Students attend chapel, engage in physical activity, and attend fine arts enrichment daily. The Academy of Coastal Carolina strives to create the very best learning environment for our students, and that requires the very best teachers. We employ an experienced faculty with diverse educational backgrounds, many holding multiple degrees and certifications in their subject areas. That's why after a decade, The Academy is a solid and growing educational institution.

THE ACADEMY OF COASTAL CAROLINA

MISSION & VISION

Our mission is to provide quality academic education based on strong moral and spiritual values. Toward that end, we will provide the very best curriculum, faculty, and technology available, in a safe learning environment where each student is given the opportunity to develop their unique learning styles.

Our vision is to provide the basis for lifetime learning that encourages the continuing accumulation of information; the development of the ability to assimilate and assess that information; and the moral context with a Christian worldview to benefit the individual and the community.
